This is a tournament of Super Metroid and A Link To The Past Combo Randomizer. This is a 1 vs 1 tournament. There will be 5 rounds of Swiss format tournament followed by an 8-player single-elimination bracket.
Prizes for the winners (USD):
1st. $400
2nd. $200
3rd. $100
4th. $50

November 25th - Signups closes
Novemeber 27th - First day of matches
Tournament Rules
Seeds will be v10.1 Normal.
Players must stream with a 15 minute delay.
The tournament consists of 2 stages, the Swiss Stage and the Bracket Stage.
Swiss Stage: There will be 5 rounds of Swiss stage. Matches are best of 1. Players must play 1 match per week (deadline Sunday night). The top 8 players from Swiss will advance to the brackets. Ties to enter the top 8 will be broken by a tie-breaker race between all tied participants. Ties for rank within the top 8 will be broken randomly.
Playoff Bracket: The second stage is an 8 player single-elimination bracket. The bracket will be seeded according to the Swiss ranking. Players will have 1 week per round. Matches will be Best Of 3 (they do not need to be scheduled back to back). There will also be a match for 3rd/4th place. The finals will be best of 5.
To participate you will need to be able to stream your gameplay and enable VOD saving. SpeedRunsLive.com will be used for the official timing, however admins may make exceptions depending on the situation. Please familiarize yourself with the rules there. You will be expected to join a Discord server (https://discord.gg/feva8MB), which we will use as our main source of communication. The matches will be streamed, with commentary, to the SpeedGaming Twitch channels (twitch.tv/SpeedGaming, SpeedGaming2-6).
PRIZES
The prizes are provided by Vie.gg, the official site for betting on these races, as well as other races on the SpeedGaming channel. SpeedGaming will be adding to the prize pool in 2 ways:
Bonus 1: On top of the initial $750 prize pool, 100% of the commission from all bets placed will be added to the prize pool of this tournament. Viewers in Europe, Canada, or anywhere outside the US are welcome to sign up and use the site - all new users who sign up with this link will receive one FREE 20-euro bet.
Bonus 2: if 100 people sign up using the above link before the tournament is over, SpeedGaming will contribute an additional $200 to the prize pool!
